I remember the first time that I had a car… I was so excited in having it that I did not care about anything else. The idea of having my very own car that I bought from my own pocket has overwhelmed me that I have forgotten that car insurance is supposed to be an important thing. At that time, I thought that the car company will take care of me in case something goes wrong as a part of their warranty system.

Approximately one year later, I had a little accident with the car, hitting a tree because I had to avoid a dog running across the street. When I tried to contact the car company, I was told that my warranty has already expired and there’s nothing that they can do to help me. For that moment on, I realized that I should have made sure that I had the car covered, instead of making it look fancy with all of the car accessories that I bought for it.
